My name is
Silvia Gericke-Vieweg and I live with my husband, my son, 2 dogs, 4 cats and some fishes in the small town Neuruppin about 40 miles north of Germany’s Capitol Berlin
For many years I’ve been visiting
bear-events in Berlin and sometimes I also adopted a lovely little bear. Mostly I enjoyed the happy faces of visitors. Nobody looked angry or earnest. Than I bought a pattern but I haven’t finished the
bear, because it was very difficult and I hated sewing. When I found the pattern one year later, I finished the bear and from this time on
I couldn’t stop making bears.
All my bears have laughing faces
and look very friendly.They are made from Mohair (mostly from Schulte-Mohair). I stuffed them with different kinds of granules. I have only little time to make bears because I have a full-time-job, my family and my
little zoo, but I do my best.
